National 2008 Women in Agriculture Conference

We would like to announce the 2008 National Women in Ag Conference will be held April 1-2  in Oklahoma City.It will open with a pre-conference seminar, "Keeping Farmers Out of Court and Educators Out of Jail", being held March 31. Summer Training Workshop Held

Each year the North Central Risk Management Education Center hosts a summer training workshop. This year's workshop, “Keys to Success” was held in Omaha , NE on August 14 & 15, 2007 at the Doubletree. Read more.

  • February 28, 2008 Full proposals due with all required materials
  • April 2008 Final award decisions announced

Center Funds 28 New Projects for 2007!

The North Central Risk Management Education Center recently concluded its grant application process for 2007. Seventy-four pre-proposals were submitted, and of that group, 51 were selected to submit on-line full proposals. After a thorough review by the Advisory Council 28 new projects for $722,050 were chosen to receive funding. Read more about all of the newly funded programs.
