Ed Kordick is director of market education and information for the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation. In this position, he responds to members' marketing education needs and helps members manage marketing issues. This includes designing and presenting risk marketing presentations to help members understand their marketing alternatives. Ed is responsible for numerous educational initiatives for farmers including the Professional Education for Farmers seminars, conferences, and specific topic sessions.

Before joining Farm Bureau in 1990, Ed worked as a marketing advisor to farmers providing individualized service.

Ed grew up on a farm in Dallas County, and graduated from St. Ambrose College in Davenport with a degree in business administration and economics.

He and his wife Teresa have three children and live in West Des Moines.
