Dan DeLano is the Assistant Vice President/National Marketing Manager for Rain and Hail LLC in Johnston, Iowa.

Dan received his undergraduate degree in Finance from Arizona State University and his Masters degree in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University. Dan's Masters thesis focused on predicting financial stress on Kansas farms.

Upon receiving his Masters degree, Dan joined Rain and Hail and has worked in many areas including product research and development, quality control, and public relations and marketing.

Dan serves on the Iowa Soybean Association risk management steering committee, is a member of the National Crop Insurance Services Public Relations and Education committee, and is a risk management/crop insurance trainer for the Center for International Agricultural Finance at Iowa State University.
