This tool displays:
- the average monthly price for the crop for the current marketing year;
- the average percentage of the crop marketed in each month of the marketing year for the previous five years; and,
- the midpoint of the USDA's projections for the marketing year average price.
and it calculates:
- the weighted average farm price to date;
- the average price needed for the remainder of the year for the marketing year average to equal the USDA projection; and,
- the average price needed for the remainder of the year for the marketing year average price to result in no counter cyclical payment.
