Illinois Crop Yield Database Tools
Overview: The Illinois
Crop Yield Database tool contains historic crop yields from the period 1972-2000
for corn, soybeans, and wheat. The data can be accessed and sorted by state total,
county level, and NASS crop reporting district. The user selects the location(s),
crop, time period, and whether to detrend the data.
User Inputs:

State Total, FBFM Associations, Crop Reporting District, or counties selected
from scroll-down box items. |

Beginning and ending dates from the interval 1972-2000 |
| Detrend: |
Option check box to control for the general increase of yields
through time and to put the data onto a common baseline. The data can be detrended
using either a state level estimate, or county level estimates of the general
rate of increase in yields through time. |

Outputs:

User Selection (locations, crop, time period) automatically
graphed and available for print. |
| Data: |
Associated data provided in table. If data were detrended, additional
section provided with detrended results provided. Mean, median, and standard deviation
provided for each location. Data can be copied for use in other applications or
directly printed. |
